Casca Wines was established in 2008 and produced its first wines on a cellar founded in 1808. As a tribute, and because they have established themselves in 2008, precisely 200 years later, they have created the brand, 1808 Portugal, that represents the evolution and constant challenges they embrace. It is a wine brand through which they reaffirmed their principles of sustainability of ecosystems and go even further, ensuring the organic and vegan certification of almost all wines produced by their winemaking team and signed with the seal “evolutionary winemaker, Hélder Cunha” their founder.
Monte Cascas is a wine brand that was born to go beyond. Beyond a farm, beyond a region. It is a brand focused on the search for the best grapes of each variety, by the most dedicated of the grape growers, with the purpose of producing blended wines that characterize each of the DOC wine regions of Portugal. And so, through valleys and mountains, from north to south of the country, they understand and respect the traditions of the local producers and with them they produce the best wine, thus ensuring their enology philosophy, the “expression of the terroir”.
