With more than 4 generations of winemaking tradition, the Bousquet family continues to produce wines of superior quality.
In 1990, Jean Bousquet discovered his dream terroir where he organically grow his winery. He has come to believe that he found the perfect blend between his French homeland and the New World, making possible for relatively fruit forward wines.
His daughter Anne Bousquet and her husband Labid Al Ameri began to invest in Domaine Bousquet in 2002 after a trip to Argentina. In 2005, the winery was constructed. The couple assumed full ownership of the winery in 2011.
The company is dedicated to farming organically while improving biodiversity. They firmly believe that if the land is treated with respect, the land will give back all its goodness through their wines. Their organically grown grapes offer a quality of fruit and vibrancy of taste that is beyond compare among ordinary wines, allowing their wines unique flavors to excel.
Its Reserve Malbec is deep violet color and smells ground-mushrooms and red berries aromas. It also has notes of violet prune and spices. It is medium bodied with soft and silky tannins and a flavorful finish. It is ideal with red meat and pasta dishes.
Today, Domaine Bousquet produces 4 million liters a year and exports 95% of its volume to more than 50 countries around the globe making them the leader in organic wine.
