Masottina Prosecco Brut Organic Doc at Organic Newspaper

Masottina is a family-owned business, owned by the Dal Bianco family. Getting to know the family is to understand the strong bond that connects it to the land, to the hills of Conegliano Valdobbiadene and their most important production, wine. Their vineyard has approximately 350 hectares (half of which are located within the historic area of Conegliano Valdobbiadene), represents the proud culmination of long family history. According to the family, it is Adriano, the head oenologist of the family, who announces the beginning of harvest season, having inspected each vineyard to assess if the grapes have achieved optimum ripeness. A meticulous pursuit of quality that continues in the cellar where, in the past decades, a solid manufacturing structure has been equipped with all the innovations needed to extract the best out of such fine raw ingredients.

Masottina has oriented all the production phases of its sparkling wines and its wines on the belief that a goal achieved becomes a stimulus for continuous evolution. Consistent with the design based on excellence, which has made it a reference company for quality, Masottina wines are the fruit and together interpreters of a scenario of great oenological value recognized all over the world: the historic area of Conegliano Valdobbiadene, the cradle of Prosecco Superiore DOCG, and the lands of Venice. All processes are carried out according to an internal disciplinary that follows the different harvest times and varietal differences. In the vineyard, balance, regularity, organoleptic integrity of the grapes are the inspiring principles of precision viticulture: all interventions are aimed at safeguarding the vegetative-productive balance in all stages of vine growth. The cellar, a technological heart nestled in the hills of Ogliano, is the place where respectful oenology is practiced.

The company has recently joined International Organic Awards 2020 and has received a Gold Award for their Prosecco Brut Organic Doc.
